Due to the continuing conditions posed by the slow movement of Hurricane / Tropical Storm Isaac, La. Commissioner of Administration Paul Rainwater has ordered the continuing closure of all state offices in several parishes located within the storm's projected path, including East Baton Rouge Parish. The closure notice is effective for Tuesday, August 28 through Thursday, August 30, 2012. This closure notice is applicable to the Board of Pharmacy office and all of its employees regardless of their location.
At this time, we anticipate re-opening the Board office at our usual time on Friday, August 31. However, Board employees and clients should monitor the Board's website as well as local news media for any new information that would indicate a potential extension of the closure order.
