Medication Administration by Pharmacists
§521 of the Board's rules permit a pharmacist to administer medications, including immunizations, to his patients.
Before you engage in this practice, we strongly recommend your review of this rule. You can access a copy of it here or in the Louisiana Pharmacy Law Book (Chapter 5 - Pharmacists).

When you are prepared to apply for the Medication Administration Registration credential, you should complete the application form supplied by the Board, Form No. 19.
