2018-D ~ Amends the Pharmacy Practice Act to allow the Board to waive the license renewal fee for spouses of pharmacists or technicians serving in active duty military.
               11-15-2017 - Draft #1 approved for filing by Board.


2018-B ~ Amends the Controlled Substances Law to define 'third-party logistics provider', identify such an entity as one of the entities requiring a Controlled Dangerous Substance (CDS) license to transact business with controlled substances, and to set the fee for CDS licenss issued to such entities.
               09-28-2017 - Committee voted to recommend the approval of Draft #1 to the Board.

2017-E ~ Amends the Insurance Law to define 'specialty drugs' and prohibit any entity from establishing alternative definitions for this term or adding any other requirements that will limit patient access to prescription drugs.  The draft legislation was incorporated into the Board's response to SCR 87 of the 2016 Legislature, which requested the Board to study the issue of specialty drugs and specialty pharmacies and make recommendations to the legislature.
